It’s just…the inside of the Spring Maiden’s Vault is a desert. Just miles and miles of yellow sand. No trees or grass. No signs of life aside from Yang. Its empty…and lonely…

So, this must be where the relic is, huh?
But, why is Yang confronting Raven now? What’s gonna happen?
-wants Yang to become a Maiden since her arc about finding her mother is over and it would add conflicting feelings about her mother that she would most likely never get to talk to Raven about-
-Doesn’t want Raven to die cause she’s such a cool morale grey character and the only person to bring up Summer Rose-
Raven doesn’t want Salem to win and after seeing how Cinder can potentially steal her powers she grabs her sword and stabs herself.
Cinder is surprised and angry and asks her, “What are you doing!? Do you know what will happen to your powers?!”
Raven lets out a soft chuckle, “Yea, I do. After all she’s always in my thoughts.”
Upstairs Yang screams as she feels a new power form inside her.

she doesn’t believe it. nobody has EVER come back to her. they only leave her. raven, summer, and even this volume it was yang who found ruby instead of the other way around. NOBODY HAS EVER COME BACK TO HER. and she doesn’t believe that blake will, either.
